8. ADJOURN INTO CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS:

8.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to consult with the District's attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the district under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551, of the Texas Local Government Code. 

8.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.072 to deliberate the purchase, lease, exchange, lease or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have detrimental effect on the position of the governing body in negotiations with a third person.

8.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee.

8.C.1. Discussion and Consideration of Candidate(s) for the Position of Superintendent and the possible Naming of Lone Finalist for the Position of Superintendent.

8.C.2. Discussion and Consideration of Possible Delegation of Authority to Negotiate Superintendent Contract.

8.D. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.076 to consider the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation,  of security personnel or devices; or a security audit.

8.E. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.082 to deliberate a case: involving discipline of a public school child; or employee of the school district by another employee and the complaint or charge directly results in a need for a hearing.

9. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION AND CONSIDER ACTION FROM CLOSED SESSION

9.A. Consider Naming Lone Finalist for the Position of School Superintendent

9.B. Consider Delegation of Authority to Negotiate Superintendent Contract.
