VIII.A.2. Partnering with Bell Timber for Forest Management Plan
Description:
In an effort to more actively manage and optimize the resources of our forested properties, we are partnering with Bell Timber Inc. to assist in creating/updating and maintaining a comprehensive forest management plan. This plan will consider all aspects including monetary, ecological, disease management, wildlife habitat, educational value, sustainability and regeneration with diversity. The affected schools include, Maine Elementary, South Mountain Elementary, Horace Mann, Wausau East, Hewitt Texas Elementary and the School Forest.
