11. Proposed Resolutions March 17th, 2025

11.1. A motion was made by ______________, seconded by _________________, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Education of District 682 to approve the hiring of Lisa Smith as a paraprofessional.

11.2. A motion was made by ______________, seconded by _________________, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Education of District 682 to approve the hiring of Tracy Borowicz as a .67 Science Teacher effective 2025-2026 academic year.

11.3. A motion was made by ______________, seconded by _________________, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Education of District 682 to approve the following:

RESOLUTION REGARDING EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE

WHEREAS, the School Board has reviewed a letter informing the employee of discipline imposed by District Administration and reasons for the discipline; and

WHEREAS, the School Board has reviewed a statement of the record prepared by Administration in support of the disciplinary action;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 682, Roseau as follows:
 

1. The School Board hereby ratifies the letter notifying the employee of discipline. The Board hereby adopts the reasons outlined in the letter as the basis for the disciplinary action.

2. The School Board further adopts the statement of the record prepared by Administration in support of the disciplinary action.

3. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 13.43, subdivision 2, the specific reasons for the proposed action, the nature of the proposed action, and the letter are private personnel data on the employee until there has been a final disposition of disciplinary action. 

The motion for the adoption of this Resolution was duly seconded by _______________ and upon a vote being taken thereon, this Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
 

11.4. A motion was made by ______________, seconded by _________________, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Education of District 682 to approve the administrative recommended reductions in expenditures in the approximate amount of $453,291.15 as presented.

11.5. A motion was made by ______________, seconded by _________________, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Education of District 682 to approve the increase of extra-curricular activity fees by 20% effective the 2025-2026 academic year.
