Amy Rhone was present to give updates from NDE Special Education Department. NE Part B and C State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report has been submitted. Working on the annual risk analysis (NECounts Risk Anaylisis). The equity team is working on disproportionate representation, significant disproportionality, discipline. Created a guidance document for developing local policies and procedures that are required for the implementation of Special Education Part B regulations in Nebraska's public schools. NASES/NDE Joint Conference will be on February 17th/18th in Lincoln, NE. This summer they are planning an ESU SPED/Superintendent Road-Show across the state.

3.3.6. SRS Staff Report

The Technology Director gave an update from the SRS Department. The team has been working on the development of the 504 plans into SRS. They have met with the Advisory team to go through the forms and discuss the information within the forms. The advisory committee also discussed the MSA SRS fees for 2022-2023. They are proposing an increase of $200 in the Admin fee and also a 5% increase in the tier structure.

Cory Epler was present to give updates on HQIM. Discussion on the school calendar and modifying instructional time, be sure to leverage HQIM support to ensure student learning. A team came together to plan/design the maximization of student learning and learning acceleration. There is a statewide contract for Zearn Math and there will be some additional accounts available for next year. The work with CSI schools are 27 of the lowest schools in the state. ESUs are also used to support this process.
