Description: The North Slope Borough School District Board of Education holds retreats to discuss issues relevant to public education. Topics on the agenda will likely call for board action during a subsequent business meeting. The discussions are primarily among board members. The following procedure will be applied to all board workshops, work sessions, and retreats. The retreat will:

Be a publicly noticed meeting
Invite comments of individuals or groups for the purpose of further explaining an issue.
Not entertain motions
Be recorded, but no minutes will be generated.
