November 9, 2020 at 6:45 PM - Americanism/American Civics Committee Meeting

1. Input and comment from staff, board, and the public on Americanism and Civics curriculum and textbooks (No action will be taken--discussion only). 
In attendance were Darcy Weibelhaus, Tanya Hallock, Erik Johnson, Todd Painter, Luke Wroblewski, Kim Walker, Ann Kepler, Rachel Ferguson, and Dennis Peters.

Items discussed were text book selection for Geography, Social Studies curriculum alignment with the state standards, Civics curriculum and scope and sequence, and using the Citizenship Test for assessment with 100% of the class of 2020 passing.  Time was allowed for public comment.
