Rationale: The Board of Education must hold a public hearing for possible audience comments on the 2015 Tax Levy. The Board of Education must approve the Levy Adoption Resolution and the Truth in Taxation Certificate of Compliance. PUBLIC HEARING Recommended Motions: OPEN PUBLIC HEARING I move that the Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education open the public hearing regarding the 2015 Tax Levy. Rationale: The Board of Education approves the issuance of bonds. Recommended Motion: I move that the Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education approve the resolution providing for the issue of not to exceed $13,400,000 General Obligation Limited Tax School Bonds of School District Number 74, Cook County, Illinois, for the purpose of increasing the District's Working Cash Fund, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax to pay the principal and interest on said bonds, and authorizing the execution of a Bond Purchase Agreement with Mesirow Financial, Inc., in connection with the sale of each series of said bonds. Recommended Motion: I move that the Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education approve the total Prime Trade Contract Awards recommended by Z3 Solutions in the amount of $10,485,607.63 as presented, and as recommended by the Facilities Committee. Z3 Solutions further recommends to the Board of Education a total project approval for the Phase One Additions and Remodeling of Lincoln Hall Middle School including Prime Trade Contract Awards as described above, Unassigned Costs and Allowances, General Conditions and Bonding/Insurance/Fee as further described within for the Final Cost Estimate Sum of Twelve Million Three Hundred Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Eight and 63/100th Dollars ($12,310,908.63).
