4.A. Interview Search Firms or Individuals to Perform the Selection Process for Hiring a New Gunter ISD Superintendent.

5. Recess into Closed Session in Compliance with Section 551.001.

5.A. Deliberation on the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property when deliberation would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third-party person pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code,

5.A.1. Land Discussion - Consider and Act on Resolution to declare and designate (1) Gunter ISD parcel as surplus property and to authorize the Superintendent, or his designer, to advertise the surplus property for sale.

5.B. Deliberation on the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of public officer or employment pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code.

5.B.1. Consider and Act on Resignation and Transition Plan from Mr. Scott Martindale.

5.B.2. Consider and Act on hiring a Search Firm or Individual to complete the Selection Process for hiring a new Gunter ISD Superintendent.

5.B.3. Consider and Act on hiring an Acting or Interim Superintendent to serve during the New Superintendent Search Process.

5.B.4. Consider and Act on hiring a new Gunter ISD Athletic Director/Head Football Coach for the 2025-2026 school year.
