Resolution Reducing and Discontinuing Educational Programs and Positions
Board Member _____ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS the School Board of Independent District No. 2683, adopted a resolution on January 22, 2024 directing the Administration to make recommendations regarding the reduction and/or discontinuance of programs and positions, and WHEREAS, said recommendations have been received and considered by the School Board, BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board in Independent District No. 2683, as follows: That the following programs and positions, or portions thereof, be discontinued: 1. .50 Science Instruction 2. .50 Family and Consumer Science Instruction 3. .50 Spanish Instruction 4. .50 Technology Instruction 5. 1.0 Art Instruction 6. 1.0 Paraprofessional Support 7. .80 Paraprofessional Support The motion for the adoption of the preceding resolution was duly seconded by _____ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof, the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted on March 22, 2024. |
