5.1. Approval of Professional Salary Schedules for 2016-2017 (with and without Prop 123 funds) - Action - Denise Bartlett, Assistant Superintendent
Description:
Upon a motion by ________ and a second by, __________ the board approved the two proposed Professional Salary Schedules as presented, and move that the governing board approve a vertical step movement for all certified employees on the proposed Professional Salary Schedule B if Proposition 123 passes. I also move that the governing board approve a salary freeze for all certified employees on the proposed Professional Salary Schedule A, with no vertical step movement, if Proposition 123 does not pass as presented. Motion carried 5-0.

5.2. Approval of District Contribution to Cafeteria Plan of Employee Benefits (with and without Prop 123 funds) - Action - Bartlett
Description:
Upon a motion by _____ and a second by ____, the board approved to provide full-time benefit eligible employees $4,992 toward a cafeteria plan of benefit options available from July 1, 2016 until June 30, 2017 with a successful outcome of the election for Proposition 123, or $4,644 toward a cafeteria plan of benefits options available from July 1, 2016 until June 30, 2017 with an unsuccessful outcome of the election for Proposition 123. All employees working between 30-40 hours will have the amount of the district contribution toward these benefits prorated based on their respective full-time equivalencies.
Also approved the list of benefit providers as presented. Motion carried 5-0. |
5.3. Approval of Certified Contracts for 2016-2017 - Action - Bartlett
Description:
Upon a motion by ______ and a second by ______ the governing board approved the professional staff contracts and addenda for the 2016-2017 school year and direct that they be issued as presented to the teachers listed as presented. Motion carried 5-0
