10.A. Designation of Identified Official with Authority for the MDE External User Access Recertification System
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) requires that school districts annually designate an Identified Official with Authority to comply with the MNIT Enterprise Identity and Access Management Standard which states that all user access rights to Minnesota state systems must be reviewed and recertified at least annually. The Identified Official with Authority will assign job duties and authorize external user’s access to MDE secure systems for their local education agency (LEA). The Board recommends to authorize Erich Heise to act as the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) and Jennifer Hecht to act as the IOwA to add and remove names only for Bagley Public School District 0162-01. |
10.B. Bids for the Irrigation System Under the Football Field located at the Fair Grounds
The recommendation is to accept Custom Sprinklers quote in the amount of $9,700.

10.C. Device Handbook
-The only changes made to our 1:1 Handbooks are fees changes. We switched to a $30 fee across the board....including Free/Reduced. We are offering 1/2 off that fee for any students in families who complete the Free/Reduced Application...whether they qualify or not. -The fee for a replacement chromebook charger did not need to be $40. We dropped that fee to $20. I am looking for approval to publish these handbooks for the 21-22 school year with those few changes made. Please note that I will still format the documents once the content is approved. (Text size, color, placement on the page...I kind of wanted to give them a little makeover for an improved presentation.) Another change is not to the handbook itself but to the procedure we use for collecting insurance fees and the completed Student/Parent Agreement forms each year. Everything is available online for families who choose to take advantage of that. I have included links to the forms we can now collect electronically. The Student/Parent Agreement Form also contains a link to pay the insurance fee online using School Pay. I chose the option to not charge a convenience fee for this particular item. I understand that the convenience fee cost will come out of the technology insurance fund. We will still provide the old procedure as we have in the past allowing families to fill out paperwork and pay at our Fall Chromebook RollOut (time and date TBD).
