10.H. Republic Services Report
FYI: We’ve now hired 19 drivers since the board meeting that I attended. Service is improving. Jim, Scott, Eileen, and Deb met with Brian Chalk our operations manager and myself on Tuesday. We filled them in on the success we’ve been having with hiring and that a driver who had serviced the township for three years for trash but left the company earlier this year returned and got released to start servicing West Hanover Township in August and it’s made a huge difference. Misses were down to 62 in the month of August which is nearly half of what we had the previous month. Jim asked me to add the day of the week and the route on the summary tab and you can find that info in column H and I. Right now, it’s sorted by the request type, but you can sort it however you’d like. Jim also asked me to add if we had any delays. I added that on the graph of service tab. We had a 1 day delay the week of August 3rd on trash but had it all caught up by the end of the week. Since then, we’ve had no delays in West Hanover Township. We also provided an article to Eileen yesterday for the West Hanover Township newsletter explaining the staffing challenges and what we’ve done to help get back on track. |
