The School Board will meet privately on May 5 for a training session. During the training session, the Board will participate in discussion with legal counsel designed to strengthen the Board's understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Board and its individual Board members and to explore how the Board can work more effectively when it does address official business. The Board will not be discussing, deciding, or receiving information as a group relating to the official business of the Board as part of the training session. This training session will not be open to the public, consistent with the Minnesota Commissioner of Administration’s Advisory Opinion 16-006 (Nov. 4, 2026) and the Minnesota Attorney General's Opinion No. 63a-5 (Feb. 5, 1975).
