1. Call to Order

1.A. Announcement by the chairperson whether a quorum is present, that the meeting has been duly called, and that notice of the meeting has been posted in the time and manner required by law.

2. Open Forum

The Board encourages and welcomes comments about the District from members of the public. Anyone who has signed up to speak in advance of the meeting in accordance with the Board procedures may do so at this time. The Board asks that each participant’s comments remain respectful and professional, pertain to District business, and be no longer than 3 minutes.

Please do not expect board discussion of issues raised during public comment that are on the agenda posted for this meeting. If comments made during the public forum warrant further information, we will direct the superintendent to gather information for consideration at a later date.

In addition, the Board has adopted policies to provide prompt and equitable resolution of complaints and concerns for employees, students or their parents, and the general public. Copies of our District policies and procedures on public comment and filing complaints are available on the District’s website.

3. Closed Session:  A closed session will be held under Provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Sections 551.071, 551.074 and 551.082.

3.A. Pursuant to Texas Govt Code 551.074 and 551.082, hear and consider a Level Three employee grievance for employee one.

3.B. Pursuant to Texas Govt Code 551.074 and 551.082, hear and consider a Level Three employee grievance for employee two.

3.C. Pursuant to Tex. Govt Code 551.071, attorney consultation regarding legal issues
related to the Superintendent's resignation.

3.D. Pursuant to Texas Govt Code 551.074, deliberate personnel duties as relates to the Superintendent’s resignation.

4. Reconvene from closed session for action relevant to items covered during closed session and other items listed.

4.A. Consider and take possible action regarding a Level Three employee grievance for employee one.

4.B. Consider and take possible action regarding a Level Three employee grievance for employee two.

4.C. Consider and take action on accepting the Superintendent's resignation.
