9. ACTION AND/OR DISCUSSION ITEMS

9.A) Discussion and approval of budget amendment for the General Fund. 

9.B) Consider approval of service agreement with HCDE for business support services from May 9, 2022 to August 31, 2022 in the amount of $75,000.

9.C) Consider approval of amended Interlocal Participation Agreement between Stafford Municipal School District and TASB Risk Management Fund effective 05/01/2022.

9.D) Consider approval of Budget Amendment in the amount of $500,000 for the Food Service Fund for the period ending August 31, 2022 to be funded by the Food Service fund balance.

9.E) Consider Board adoption of the Local Innovation Plan, as required by Texas Education Code Chapter 12A, in order to obtain designation as a District of Innovation.

9.F) Consider approval of adopting the salary schedule for FY 2022-2023 salary schedule which includes a $1,300 increase for teachers, and an increase of 2% for all other administrative and auxiliary staff.

9.G) Consider approval of FY 2021-2022 Investment Resolution for the annual review of SMSD’s Investment Policy, Investment Pools, and Investment Trainers in accordance with the Public Funds Investment Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 22.56.005(k).

9.H) Discussion and ratification of the interlocal agreement with Fort Bend County Tax Assessor Collector to collect property taxes on behalf of SMSD for tax year 2022 and annual automatically renewals.

9.I) Consider approval of the Optional Flexible School Day Program (OFSDP-Quest Program) for the 2022-2023 school year.
