7.A) Discussion and possible action regarding payment of lobbyist fees in an amount not to exceed $50,000 and related actions.

7.B) Discussion and possible action regarding approval of the Stafford Legislative Agenda and related actions. 

7.C) Consider approval of the 2021-2022 Stafford Elementary Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP). 

7.D) Consider approval of Chapter 49 agreement as a precaution that SMSD will need to enter into an agreement as a result of the impact of HB3 and delegating authority. For the 2020-2021 school year, the Board of Trustees delegates contractual authority to obligate the school district under Texas Education Code (TEC) §11.1511(c)(4) to the superintendent, solely for the purpose of the obligating the district under TEC, §48.257 and TEC, Chapter 49, Subchapters A and D and the rules adopted by the Commissioner of Education as authorized under TEC, §49.006. This included approval of the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit or the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit (Netting Chapter 48 Funding).

7.E) Consider approval of $57,615.21 for two-way radios and batteries from Crosspoint Communications an approved vendor from the Buyboard with the TEA School Safety and Security Grant funds. 

7.F) Consider approval of contract with Educator’s Depot, Inc. (Buy Board Cooperative Contract 584-19) in an amount not to exceed $390,000.00 for fixtures, furnishings, and equipment for the STEM Magnet School Renovation project, part of the 2017 Bond Program.

7.G) Consider approval of the contract award for Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals #20-004 for Locker Room Renovation project for a total bid amount of $499,000.00, which includes an allowance of $50,000 and consider delegating authority to the Superintendent and his designee to negotiate, finalize, and execute the Contract Documents.
