2. Workshop to discuss the 2008-2009 SMSD budget including Strategic Areas identified in the 2007-2008 budget process.

2.A. Discuss 2008-2009 draft budget proposal and tax rates including the allocation of available funds, options available to SMSD regarding the 2008-2009 tax rate, budget calendar and related actions.

3. Discussion of Teachers’ Gala at the Stafford Centre scheduled for September 6, 2008, including funding of all or a portion of the function and additional aspects including proposed revenues, ticket sales and arrangements for attendees.
